Brown, Joel & Shula

We serve in the North End of Winnipeg, a community made up mostly of indigenous people and newcomers to Canada. We both got our start in the neighbourhood, running outreach programs through an organisation called Inner City Youth Alive. After sometime we decided we wanted to make the shift to a more informal style of ministry, with a greater emphasis on long-term discipleship with small groups of people. It was then we began out partnership with MSC Canada. The majority of our ministry is now done in our home, through Bible studies, and sharing meals together. Our focus is on developing local indigenous leaders.
