Goud, Daniel & Jennifer

Dan and Jen grew up in Papua New Guinea, where their parents serve as church planters with Ethnos Canada. They were both saved at an early age and saw the impact of the Gospel in people’s lives. They met while attending boarding school and returned to Canada after graduating in 2013.

Dan attended Prairie Aviation Training Centre (PATC) for a year before a broken leg redirected his path. Jen completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Dalhousie University and later reunited with Dan in Ontario, where they were married in 2017. Dan worked in construction until he was accepted into the Armed Forces as a Combat Engineer.

In 2019, Dan and Jen went on a trip to Papua New Guinea, where God reignited their passion for missions and using aviation to advance the Gospel. In 2023, Dan retired from the army as a combat diver, and they moved to Alberta for Dan to continue his flight training. Since completing his training, Dan has been gaining flight experience by serving as a Flight Instructor at PATC. Dan and Jen have been blessed with three children: Aurora, Sophia, and Rourke.

The Gouds have joined MAF and are now preparing to serve in Papua New Guinea. Dan will serve as a pilot, and Jen will focus on supporting their family and engaging in local ministry.
