Loloma Mission Hospital has been servicing the local people of Manyinga, Zambia since 1956. Over the years, the hospital has been greatly used by the Lord to provide quality medical care on a spiritual foundation. It services a large catchment area with a population of >80,000 people.
While the Government of Zambia now pays salaries for 95% of the staff, this MSC project supports the Christian Mission via the hospital board in providing key ministry components:
- Managing the hospital.
- Sourcing medicines and medical equipment from overseas.
- Upgrading the infrastructure of the hospital.
- Providing additional staff.
- Carrying out maintenance projects.
Through this daily input, the hospital board is able to provide daily spiritual support to the staff working at the hospital and the many patients who come there for medical help.
