The Lunga Children’s Trust is primarily involved in the raising of orphaned and vulnerable Zambian children in a family atmosphere. The objective of this MSC project is to see the life and character of Christ impact the children’s lives and, in turn, impact their future jobs, marriages and positions in their community.
The facilities that the Trust operates are located on the banks of the West Lunga River, in the Mwinilunga District of North Western Zambia. Because of its remote location, all the basic infrastructure services and food production are handled by the staff, with the goal of using these facilities and systems to help train and educate the children currently in our care.
By raising & educating them, providing life skills & experiences, and fostering Christian character qualities, our vision is for these children to not only be blessed themselves, but to be a blessing to all people who will become a part of their lives in the future.
