We feel specifically called to work in Winnipeg, Manitoba with former refugees from many different nations, both the saved and those who are yet to hear the gospel. In 2008 we led a team of believers to plant City Church, an intentionally intercultural church, the majority of which are former refugees from many different nations. In 2017 the Lord led us to open Naomi House, a ministry of City Church. It is a transitional home for newly arriving refugees. In 2020 the Lord allowed us the privilege of receiving Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH) status with the Canadian government. Through the SAH, we can sponsor up to 90 refugees a year. The SAH sponsors and settles persecuted Christians, refugee family reunification cases and those who have no connection to Canada. In all of this, we seek to share the gospel and disciple believers.
