Ecole Mixte Reparateur des Breches (French for Repairer of the Breaches School) is a Christian school in Cazale, Haiti for children whose parents are financially unable to support school attendance. These parents struggle on a daily basis to provide food for their families.
This MSC project supports the nutritional needs of the schoolchildren by providing a healthy daily meal for students and staff. As of the 2025/26 school year, the lunch program now feeds 415 students and 50 staff each day. Supplies are very difficult to find, and prices are constantly rising due to the present crisis in Haiti.
The Repairer of the Breaches School draws its name from Isaiah 58:12. The lunch project has as its logo a mango tree (symbolizing growth and food) on a yellow circle (symbolizing light). We now call this the “Noonday Project”, taken from Isaiah 58:10: “If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”
