It may be that you are a member of a local church, or other registered charity, that is willing to forward a donation you have made to that charity to MSC Canada. MSC is considered a “qualified donee” in that transaction. The receipt for tax purposes would be issued by the charity you are associated with, but the funds would be utilized by MSC for its charitable purposes.
