Mail plane landed Our mail plane was finally approved to land in the DR! The last mail flight here was March 3rd. The plane brought in over 1600 pounds of cargo, including humanitarian relief supplies. They intend to return May 28th so please pray for approval to land. Read more
Applied again for permission Borders are closed except for cargo flights and ships. They are not allowing in the missionary mail plane (MFI) which is cargo only. MFI has applied again for permission to bring in cargo. I am trying to get disposable masks, gloves and caps brought in on MFI for our local hospital. Read more

Missionary Flights We use a missionary mail service here. They bring us our mail and supplies that help our various ministries. As they are a cargo and ferry flight, we expected the Haitian and Dominican governments to give them permission to fly here. Both governments denied Missionary Flights entry for the next 15 days. A huge evangelistic opportunity We have extended our clinic hours to five days a week. We have also added counseling and family therapy to the services we offer. This is a huge evangelistic opportunity as we are able to offer Christian counseling! We are thankful to be in a country that does not restrict us from praying and sharing about God. Read more
New project We've embarked on investing in a 300-meter lot in 'La Javiela' with the hope of extending into this neighbourhood. For now, we’ll just prepare the lot to better accommodate the up to 70 children that regularly participate in the Bible class. Latest update on baby Judah We met with the doctors last week. Judah has been diagnosed with cancer and had an operation last week to put a port into a major artery just above his heart so that the chemo can be dispersed through his brain properly. Update on Judah’s health (Currently in Canada) We are still in the hospital but the doctors think they have found the reason for Judah's continued seizures. They have seen blood pooling in the cavity of Judah's brain where the tumour was and this is causing him to have high fevers which in turn are causing him to have seizures. Medivac The Slessors and Judah were flown by medivac to Toronto late last week and Judah is now in recovery as they await biopsy results after most of his brain tumour was removed on Tuesday of this week. Juda’s health The Slessors, along with their 6 month old son Judah, recently went to serve the Lord in the Dominican Republic. Judah has just been diagnosed with a life threatening condition.
