Santa Rosa We are in the process of building a new hall in Santa Rosa. A tornado wind lifted the roof off the old hall and damaged the walls, which were of mud adobe. Another lampstand The assemblies have been seeking the Lord's direction in establishing a new assembly in Guatajiagua. The work there started eight years ago, but gang activity caused many Christians to leave the area for their safety. We feel the Lord's guiding in establishing another lampstand in the month of October. Pray for this new work. Read more
Limited visits to outskirts Our visits to the outskirts are limited because of gang activity, so we use the privilege of our visitors' permit to the Sonsonate hospital. We are able to cover about 500 people in each visit with texts and Bibles. The hospital has been a good place for responses to the Gospel. Read more
Very difficult The Lord has blessed the Acajutla and El Carmen assemblies with a number of young adults professing faith in Christ. We would appreciate your prayers for these young Christians as it is very difficult to live a profitable Christian life in a nation so controlled by violence and extortion. Read more
Essential to gospel work We are responsible for our assembly's bus maintenance, but we have a serious problem, as the government has put a limit on the age of our busses. Although they are well maintained and safe, they have taken 3 of 4 off the road. Please pray, as the busses are essential to gospel work here. Read more
