Travel protection The annual Sunday school teachers’ seminar will be held here at Ika Mission in October. Please pray for travel protection for those who will be coming and for wisdom for those who will be teaching on how Sunday schools can be more effective to reach the children. Read more

Health + Evangelistic conference Thank you for your care and continued prayers on our behalf. Tom is making slow progress and is still quite confused but has surprised me at times by recalling old events. Medication has been adjusted and seems to be settling these problems. Update It has now been a month since Tom has been home recovering from his stroke. We thank the Lord for the improvement in his condition. In a familiar space Tom has been discharged and will continue physiotherapy at home. He is able to speak clearly but still struggles to think clearly. His left leg and arm are still very paralyzed. The Lord has already provided a caregiver to help with looking after Tom as he recovers. Please pray that being in a familiar space around familiar people will help… Read more
Very good signs Tom is now eating solid food and sleeping well. His speech is improving and he is beginning to remember people. He has started to move his left hand and leg more. Update My [Lois] final check-up with the Cardiologist was on January 19th. All went well and he says I am good to go. Quickly repaired The TAVR procedure was successfully completed. I was discharged the next day and have a check-up today. Thank you for all the prayer support. The Lord answered in His marvelous love and care. It is amazing how such a serious condition can be so quickly repaired. My final check-up will be in January. Thank you for your prayers. Read more
