Outreach into a new area This October Georgia will lead a team on an outreach into a new community in the moutains of Kalinga. Georgia has asked the clinic's referring obstetrician to join the group of midwives to reach out to the doctor's tribal group. Praying for wisdom to discern Our maternity clinic is seeking to hire new midwives and social workers. We have interviewed over a dozen candidates and have prayerfully asked four women to begin training this week. We are praying for wisdom to discern both who will be a good fit for the clinic and who God is calling us to mentor and disciple. Read more
An internship program Emil is working with young men in an internship program. Please pray for wisdom as he disciples and connects with them. Many young adults here grow up in difficult home situations. They have not finished school and often go without their daily needs met. Remote assemblies Despite heavy rains from monsoon season and a recent typhoon, we have been able to visit remote assemblies. Many can only be reached by motorcycle or on foot during the dry season.
