Some very isolated areas

We went up to the northern part of the country to visit some contacts from our time working at the jail and rehab centre. On our way back, we visited some very isolated areas and met incredible Christians who witness to anyone who crosses their path. We took Bibles, Bible courses, EPI booklets and tracts and they were so thankful.…

The process of transition

Since 2011, we have been traveling to Carmelo to help revitalize the local church. The Lord in His grace has put together a group of families and young people who are getting involved in different areas of ministry. Last month a young couple was commended to full-time service in this city. Pray for wisdom and grace as we go through…

Colonia Valdense

Various families live in Colonia Valdense and, recently, a brother and his wife started Bible studies with them. Another family moved there two weeks ago and a young couple is buying a small home there. Please pray for this group. It looks like a new church plant will be starting, God willing.

We are concerned about the children and teens, as most come from non-Christian homes. May God give us the wisdom to move forward serving in these very special times.

Started to think about God

Praise the Lord for the opportunities He has given me to share the Gospel. One day I spoke with 3 young people at the grocery store. They listened to my short presentation. One of them said that she doesn’t believe in God but because of the pandemic, she’s it. Please pray for the people who hear the Gospel.

Prescription drugs

We see a steady increase in COVID cases and deaths. Just as concerning are the many suffering from anxiety and depression. Sales of anxiety drugs have skyrocketed and there are waves of suicide but people aren’t flocking to find Christ. Some ask for prayer for healing and peace, but without turning personally to the God of peace.

The Lord keeps surprising

During the summer, the city allowed us to take 35 children down to the beach for games, singing, and a Bible lesson. Some families, seeing the group, asked for permission to bring their kids over. The Lord keeps surprising us with opportunities to bless the children. Some have never heard the Gospel. Pray for them.
