Gordon & Ruth Hanna have both tested positive for COVID-19 and are presently self-isolating. Ruth is recovering well, having had minor symptoms but Gordon’s case is more severe and he is struggling with fevers, coughing, and congestion among other symptoms. Their son Doug has also tested positive, but is recovering well.
There has been a severe outbreak of COVID-19 virus at Chitokoloki with a large number of patients affected plus some staff members testing positive and possibly large portions of the community. A team is traveling from the Provincial Ministry of Health to conduct more tests today.
