A couple of days ago, there was a very strong wind and rain storm that swept through our village. The wind ripped 9 sheets of metal roofing off our house and 5 off our veranda. We praise the Lord for a team who quickly purchased materials then came to our village and repaired the roof. However, our co-worker checked out the inside of the house and there was a lot of water damage to the ceiling, books, mattresses etc. They were able to take everything out of the room that was hit the worst and to rip out the carpet as well. Please pray that another team can go back and open up the house for a day to clean-up and dry out the rest of the house. During the storm a tree fell and killed a woman. Please pray for her husband. Pray that this will be an opportunity for the saints to be a witness to the families affected by this death. Also, two of our neighbours would appreciate your prayers, as they too lost the rooftops of their homes.
