We both came to the US exhausted, but after three months in the US and Canada, we came back to the Philippines refreshed and inspired. Unfortunately, after arriving in Manila, Patrick was hospitalized and treated for ketoacidosis and symptoms of an unknown infection. He remains in hospital while they continue testing to determine the cause of his symptoms.
