Due to the Lord’s faithfulness and His guidance we have been able to carry out a back-to-school material distribution for the past 11 years in our small town in Kerala, India. We are currently preparing for the 12th annual back to school material distribution. What started as a small idea to cater to the needs of a small number of children in our local area has grown into an annual event which attracts an average of 150 children from near and far. Over the years, we have been able to develop relationships with the families who approach us to share the Lord’s love in so many other ways such as sharing a meal, praying with them and inviting them to church etc. As we look back, we know it is the Lord’s doing which is marvellous in our eyes. We take this opportunity to thank each of you partnering with us for these past years to uphold the love of Jesus in this small town in Kerala, India. We request your earnest prayers for the upcoming back to school package distribution which is to take place May 24th. The back-to-school package will contain school bags, notebooks, stationary items, lunch box, and an umbrella (an essential item due to the tropical weather in Kerala). The cost of one such package is $75. Due to the current restrictions we cannot include a Bible in the package anymore. But the distribution will take place during a meeting at which the Gospel will be shared with the children and the families and Bibles and Gospel literature will be available perused. We request your earnest prayers and support in this ministry so that not only their physical needs but their spiritual needs will also be fulfilled.
