Thank you so much for your prayers for Fiji. Cyclone Yasa, instead of hitting Fiji’s main island directly as predicted, shifted north and passed between the two main islands. However, Vanua Levu, the second largest island to the north saw many homes, mostly built on stilts, blown away. The dwellings on some smaller islands nearby were completely flattened by the wind of up to 350km/h. The full extent of destruction is not known yet, as the network of dirt roads have been washed away as well. A massive relief program is going on. Praise God there seems so far to be minimal loss of life, with 4 known dead.
