Kalene Mission Hospital Zambia, is in dire straits. We have only one doctor, who is also our District Medical Officer. Dr. Kahilu is doing a fantastic job running both the District Health Office and the Hospital, but this is clearly not sustainable for any great length of time.
If you know of a doctor – physician, surgeon, or anything in between – who might be willing to spend a month (or longer) supporting Dr. Kahilu while we find some long-term medical officers, please let us know by emailing the Hospital Administrator.
And for those that pray, please pray with us that the Lord will provide health & strength for Dr. Kahilu in this difficult time, along with long-term doctors in the very near future! Thank you for your prayers and support for our colleagues and us.
