We have exciting news to share! On Tuesday morning (November 15th), the Hope of Bastion Mission purchased property beside the back patio of the school! Thank you for your prayers through this process. As mentioned in the October newsletter, the decision was made to purchase and we are confident that the Lord is guiding each step of this process. $14000 US was spent on the property with money from the building fund. The next phase is to get some preliminary drawings, have the school leadership team confirm it will meet the ministry’s needs, and then have an engineer approve the plans and refer a reputable builder. The hope is to build a 2-story addition with a large multi-purpose room/classroom, offices, 2 storage rooms, and washrooms. It would be ideal to have all plans, building permits and contractors ready for construction in March 2017 while students are on their 2-month vacation.
