Gordon’s health

In late August Gordon began receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments, with no promise of a cure, but rather expectations of more complications to his health. The resulting infection caused more pain and discomfort to his already weakened body. On September 9, he made his decision, along with his family and primary doctor, that he would discontinue treatments. We are in the Lord’s hands and have no fear of the future. Since September 26 Gordon is receiving in-home hospice care, which includes the kind and loving help from a life-long friend, who is a hospice nurse.

Even in terminal illness, Gordon has been a good witness to doctors, nurses, and fellow believers of God’s faithfulness.
