[Currently in USA] via Heidi’s Husband Jeff Witte – Heidi has been discharged from inpatient rehab. A friend that has a lovely house on a lake outside of Omaha is allowing us to stay there for a few days. This will hopefully help Heidi adjust to being out of the hospital and allow her to rest and continue processing what has happened to her.
She still has lots of pain, mostly in her left foot. She has to move very slowly and carefully. Her muscles are still so weak in general. She has exercises to do each day and has a list of activities and exercise bands to use. Heidi’s mom and dad are taking care of the 4 children.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. The road is long and difficult but Heidi has made it out of the valley.
