In spite of heavy restrictions on visitors, Wendy obtained permission to enter the maximum-security prison in Santa Cruz. The prisoners were astonished to see her.
She then was able to visit the ex-serial killer who had led 29 prisoners to Christ. His face lit up when he saw her, and he took her to the chapel where Wendy was asked to share briefly. A big man entered whom Wendy had met years before in the prison in La Paz, where he had been sent with eight other inmates. Wendy had often shared with these men, provided clothing, and prayed with them. As it turned out, not only had the big man become a believer, but also all eight of his friends! Wendy was able to go to the section where this group was confined, and the men were overjoyed to meet her again. They had a wonderful time of fellowship. Thank you for praying!
