Medical

On Sunday evening we received a short-term team from America. It is led by Kendal, who was an intern of ours a decade ago and she has brought a team back to Rwanda every year since to serve. On Monday morning, I took Kendal to the doctor for shortness of breath. She had pneumothorax – a collapsed right lung. They are still clearing out the air pocket and she is being treated for a severe case of pneumonia. Either tomorrow or Sunday they will do a bronchoscope to get a biopsy to see what the disease is on her lung. Please pray for healing.

Pray for continued attentiveness from the medical staff here in the hospital Pray for her 6 year old daughter who is also in country along with the other team members also for family and friends back in LA who are very concerned. Pray for stamina, wisdom, and peace for Serge and I as we advocate and lead through this crisis. We know that God goes ahead of us on all things. Thank you for joining us in upholding Kendal to our healing God.
