More tests needed

Submited By: Wheeler, Lois

Lois’ appointment with the specialist went well. She’s been given two options: open-heart surgery or TAVR, a minimally invasive heart procedure to replace an aortic valve that can’t fully open. Her doctor says she’s a good candidate for either procedure. For now, more tests must be done and she awaits doctors’ orders. Please pray that […]

Heart issues

I [Lois] had a routine follow-up echocardiogram done a year ahead of schedule when I was recently in the States. Not anticipating much difference, I went back to Nigeria only to be informed that I needed to return to the US for more investigation and possible heart surgery. I fly back today, October 20, and […]

Critical devastation

Last week, the situation here went from very peaceful protests to very critical devastation in a matter of minutes, leaving us seriously seeking the Lord’s will for what our next move would be at IKA Mission. The […]

Security

Last Saturday rioting took place in our town. People were murdered, cars burnt, and there was general tension and upheaval. Gunshots continued throughout the night. It was all politically motivated. We ourselves are safe though on alert. The 16th is the election and all peoples are advised of precautionary security measures. Thank you for your […]

With the Lord: Berta Foster

(Via her son Tim)  On Saturday, January 27th, 2018, Berta stepped out of her mortal coil and put on her Savior’s robe of righteousness. She placed her hope in the Lord, so we grieve but not without hope. We look forward to that Day when He will make all things new, and with resurrected bodies, […]
