After elections this past Sunday, the current president has claimed victory and the opposition is protesting what appears to be a fraudulent count. We had a number of big protests where blood was shed, a couple of major election offices were set on fire, and there were demonstrations and riots. The American and Canadian Embassies are warning people to remain at home due to street chaos. We pray that these problems do not escalate to a civil war. Please pray for safety and for a fair solution and restoration of peace in this country.
