Struggling to juggle needs

On Friday, Sakeji School was notified of a problem with the power utility company, where parts are now needing to be ordered from overseas. We are looking at 2+ weeks with no power. This means that whatever power we have is either from the diesel generator or our water turbine. We would ask that you please pray with us as we struggle to juggle needs with resources until this is resolved. We really don’t know how long it will be until they are up and going again. The roads continue to deteriorate with the rains so getting supplies up to the school will continue to be a prayer item.

We still have a number of staffing needs in 2020. Some of the positions are for support staff, caterer, boy’s dorm parents, maintenance help, and teachers for grades 2-7. Please contact us if you need more information.
