Peter recently had a routine surgery which ended with complications but he is now recovering. The scheduling of his operation meant he was going to miss our teen camps this summer for the first time in 35 years. The camps are happening right now with 115 teens attending. Please pray for these young people who are growing up in a world that has lost its moorings. Social media, secularism, and selfishness has blinded this country to God. Young people are confronted every day with the sights and sounds of a world in distress. These things should assault their eyes and ears. Instead, they have become the familiar background and ambient noise of their daily lives. It has all become so normal that they simply no longer hear or see. Jesus tells His disciples “blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears for they hear.” This is our prayer for these teens, that they may experience what Jesus saw in His disciples.
