Mission Focus
The team will partner with local aid organization called CMIAID(https://www.cmiaid.org/) in providing an English Immersion Program for young people. CMIAD is a multi faceted ministry which includes: Bible Camps, food deliveries, support for fire fighters Police and Teachers. Etc……
Moldova is very open at this point and the young people will be willing to practice English with you and you are free to share the gospel with them. If you’re willing, He is able to use and bless you and more importantly, make you a blessing.
Planned activities include:
- Two ESL lessons per day of which you will receive the material and be trained ahead of time. The requirement for this is that you speak English.
- Conversational interactions with the young people at meals, during games and during free time.
- Opportunity to give your testimony
- Participation in assembly meetings
Team Details
- Team Size: 16 volunteers
- Minimum Age: 18+ or younger with a parent
Cost
- $900 CAD (plus airfare approximate total is $2,400: Air fair from Toronto is estimated at $1500: Covers ground transportation, food, and accommodation
Travel Requirements
- Valid passport (must expire at least six months after trip dates)
- Travel insurance (assistance available—contact Rob Armstrong)
