A vehicle for use in the work The Lord has blessed the work with many people interested in attending from the town of Quebrada Amarilla, and surrounding areas. Their spiritual growth A couple was baptized recently after having both professed salvation a few months prior. We pray for their spiritual growth and for help finding more suitable jobs. Online advertising We had a week of children’s program and gospel meetings in Guapiles. Some family members of the kids attended the gospel meetings. Online advertising was done, along with door-to-door invites. We saw some response from the online advertising as a number of free Bibles were requested. One young man attended almost every night after seeing the meetings advertised on Facebook.… Read more
Building relationships Mabel planned a night for the women to come and enjoy a meal. This was great for building relationships among the sisters as well as ladies from the community. As a result, a number of women from the neighbourhood started coming out to the meetings. We pray for their salvation. Read more
Guapiles Two years ago, we held an encouraging week of children’s meetings in an isolated assembly in the town of Guapiles, which resulted in children still attending the Sunday school to this day. We pray for their family contacts as well as for the children, as some are approaching their teens and need to be saved from a life of sin… Read more
The most isolated group We took a van full of believers to the most isolated group in the country. There are only four in fellowship there, but they had planned Sunday School and a message. There were about 20 kids in attendance and 10 adults who attended the gospel meeting. Pray for them. Read more
New contacts A couple, whose church had permanently closed, came looking for a new church. They are very active in children’s ministry and have been bringing out 15 kids each week.
