People actually came We had a special outreach and we were pleased with the turnout, which included people we didn’t know. The believers distributed invitations in the letterboxes of surrounding houses and some people actually came along. New premise needed One of our main concerns is to find a new location for the church to meet. We are in borrowed space and have really reached capacity. Things are very expensive in Montpellier and we are contacting the mayor to seek help in finding a solution. Please pray for a favorable reception. Read more
French-speaking countries We shall be in Northern Ireland to attend an international conference for Bible Educational Services, for whom Dorothy is the French coordinator. We will meet folks from French-speaking countries in Africa who use the lessons. We are humbly thankful for the way God is using these lessons throughout the world. Please pray for encouragement. The blaze at Notre Dame The blaze that consumed the spire and the roof of Notre Dame provoked a variety of reactions. Communal hall A lady who came to the meeting occasionally was killed in a car accident. A sister from our group saw the death notification in the newspaper and asked her son if we could have a song and gospel message in a neutral communal hall. Important activities With almost one hundred children in Sunday school, children’s ministries are important activities of our local church.
