Quite an accomplishment! A 12-year-old girl has been attending Sunday meetings and Friday's children’s program. She has completed six Emmaus courses with marks above 90 percent. This is quite an accomplishment! She has professed faith in Christ, and we are encouraged to see her spiritual thirst at such a tender age. Please pray for her growth. Read more
To encourage work We held our first Emmaus student reunion, and those that came were very enthusiastic to complete courses. Some of our young people are also eager to work on them and have already completed some. We plan to host monthly meetings to encourage work on these Bible courses. Read more
Extended challenge We have extended the memory challenge into August, after which we plan to celebrate with a picnic at Lake Bosomtwe. One boy is trying to complete Psalm 119, which is a huge undertaking. Please pray that our minds and hearts benefit from this effort in memorizing various psalms. Read more
Emmaus courses The teens have been working through Emmaus courses. They work together to answer the questions, debating until they agree on an answer. They are usually correct, but there are occasions when the whole group is mistaken. Most of them have not given clear testimony of salvation. We pray these studies will work in their hearts to bring salvation. Read more
Back on the air Our weekly radio program is now back on the air and broadcasting gospel teaching lessons each Sunday. We pray that the Lord will use this ministry to reach thousands of souls in the Kumasi and surrounding areas. Read more
Working together The memory challenge has slowed down a bit, but progress is still being made. Now we have 128 chapters quoted by 30 participants. One Sunday the teen class and I were able to memorize Psalm 131. Pray for them. Some find it difficult to memorize God’s Word, but by working together we encourage one another. Read more
Street outreach event For their annual hunger relief activity, a local university student club joined us for our weekly street outreach event. They helped serve over 100 hot meals and learned more about our mission. We believe we have been called to invest in these students as the future leaders of Ghana and beyond. Read more
Radio ministry For many years we broadcast Bible teaching on a local FM radio station. They had some licensing challenges and had to close down. A few weeks ago they were able to start up again. Sunday school choir Our Christmas program always attracts a good number of people. This year the Sunday school choir did their singing very well, to the delight of all in attendance. Please pray for the many visitors. A young brother did a short ventriloquism act and provided a clear gospel message. Read more
This year’s Christmas program Children have been coming each evening to practice their parts for this year's Christmas program. They have all mastered their parts, but they want to continue practicing each day. Not only are the gospel songs speaking to them, but I often share a short thought from the Scriptures, always with a view to their salvation. Please pray for fruit. Read more
Memorized Bible verses. We had a very successful trip to Lake Bosomtwe as a reward to those who memorized Bible verses. The facility was great and the kids all had a safe day full of fun. We had 31 individuals who quoted a total of 66 chapters (873 verses). Please pray for the Word to bring salvation! Read more
