Gospel-focused verses I have been meeting daily with several neighbourhood children to assist with their reading skills and provide exposure to the Gospel. Essential items Heather has been gathering essential items to help some teen girls. Some of their moms came to thank us for what we had done for their daughters. Heather is now preparing items for other teenage girls. We pray for them and try to keep a close eye on them when we can. Read more
University Joseph and a friend went to the University to meet the people that are allowing us to set up a table with Christian literature. They noticed that there are already some sects there. Pray with us that we’ll be a good testimony and for many opportunities to reach others. Read more
Teen night Over 100 teenagers came out to the Teen Night. We are thankful for this incredible opportunity as teens need extra attention at this stage of life. Several stopped by our house with questions, wanting to have a Bible study. It is encouraging to see their interest in spiritual issues. Read more
Amazing opportunities Joseph has been offered a great opportunity at a university to put up a book table display each week and to share the Gospel with the students and staff members. Emma We would appreciate your prayers for Emma, our oldest daughter. She’s now 11 years old and going through a lot of issues with her mouth. Little contribution It is tough to teach at our ladies' group, as most can't read or write so there is little contribution in preparation, but they do ask questions. Many teenage girls come out as well and are quite interested. They are the ones who request notes afterwards. Read more
A break We will be closing Kids Club and Teen Nights to have a break until September. We pray that we don't lose the kids during the break. Read more
Memory challenge At least 40 memory challenge participants have recited one chapter of Hebrews, which qualifies them for our awards day. Several have learnt six or more chapters and their goal is to memorize all thirteen chapters! We plan to take them on an excursion filled with games and awards. Read more
A nearby school Joseph was asked to preach at a nearby school. There were about 150 kids plus staff members. The head of the school sat in as well and enjoyed it so much that he invited Joseph to return soon. Please pray as Joseph has submitted letters to other schools requesting to do the same. Read more
Teen nights We have increased the frequency of the teen nights to every other Friday. The numbers keep increasing. They listen to the messages intently after having some activities and refreshments. Pray for their salvation, and for growth in Christ for those who are already saved. Read more
