Carport

A brother who was saved after receiving an invitation at his door and coming out to hear the Gospel has opened the carport at his home. He has invited a number of friends and contacts there each Monday evening to hear the message that has changed his life and destiny. Please pray especially for another man who is showing interest.

Calendars

Along with other believers from the assembly, we distributed about 1000 calendars that included an invitation and a Gospel tract. Some who received them asked for extra copies for their relatives. This distribution not only gave us the opportunity to share the Gospel but also to encourage the believers to be active in evangelism. Pray for fruit.

Severe health issues

Via their son Esteban - A few days ago, Jaime and Leticia both had to be hospitalized with COVID-19. Thankfully, Leticia was released with medication and is slowly recovering at home. Jaime's condition unfortunately has not improved. The doctor diagnosed him with pneumonia and this has caused him severe respiratory issues. He will continue to be hospitalized until his condition improves.…

Monthly women’s breakfast

Shelley was able to restart the monthly women’s breakfast, which had been suspended due to COVID. Many sisters have unsaved husbands, some of whom oppose the Gospel and make home life difficult. Please pray for their salvation. The breakfast gives the sisters a chance to have some Christian fellowship and pray for each other.

Ron often meets with the pastor of a group that began a few years ago. Of the four English-speaking pastors we know here, all are forgiven ex-prisoners. One of them has a soft heart and speaks in street slang, but he fears God far more than men. Please pray for them.

Constant witness

We began meeting in the house of a brother who was saved early last year. His constant witness to his friends and loved ones is refreshing, and we were so encouraged to have 8 adults and a couple of children hearing the Gospel. God willing, we plan to continue, praying that the evident interest will remain.

We have had the opportunity to feed hungry souls as we do ministry in the mountains. There are 4 new families we’ve connected with in the last six months. Local believers are taking on the responsibility

In April, we began to meet physically for the first time since December. We are using our newly rented hall that we have been working on over the past few months. We’ve been encouraged by the measure to which local believers are taking on the responsibility of reopening. Please pray for them.

Meaningful interaction

The men in the jail continue to communicate with Ron as the doors there remain closed to the public. Rosalind continues to be involved with hospital needs and goes in-person once a week. Pray for meaningful interaction with the staff as many of their colleagues battle the virus.

Next week the youth camps begin. Cabe will be teaching and counselling the boys’ camps and the young adult camps. Christine will be the cook. We would love your prayers for  and spiritual growth and fruit from these three weeks.
