Work with teenagers Due to COVID-19, the work with teenagers in our home is suspended. This worries us, since most of them don’t have Christian relatives and live in a place with a lot of drugs, as well as moral and spiritual challenges. We keep in touch with them over the phone and pray that the Lord would keep them safe. Read more
Teach them at the park? School children are always asking when I will teach them Bible classes again. They suggested I teach them at the park under a tree. My elders recommend that I speak with city hall to make sure it is allowed. Please pray with me that things will work out, as the Lord wills. Read more
Filming messages We are filming messages for the virtual meetings of the chapel. ZOOM isn’t much use here as so many believers don’t have access to a computer, and can only follow on their mobile phones. Pray for growth for all of us. Read more
Time to prepare These days I am able to prepare calmly for my Valores classes, which will be used when I go back to teach in the public schools. When I think of the 815 children, 38 teachers and the NGO being reached on a consistent basis, I thank the Lord for entrusting me with this mission to share the Gospel. Read more
An answer to prayer Thank you for praying for my first contact in the public schools to start the Valores classes. The school year began February 3. Summer Camps Summer camps have started. Last week was Kids’ Camp and about 90 children attended, a good number of them for the first time. Five children made a decision for Christ and it was encouraging when a young counselor who came before as a camper gave her testimony and said she accepted the Lord at camp some years ago. Read more
We need a lot of prayer! Brazil’s homicide rate is very high. Last month, a 20-year-old woman whom I taught for 3 years at Grupo Primavera when she was a child, was shot by her former boyfriend. A sister, who will be giving the lessons at kids camp this July, said that 2 boys that she taught in January at another camp, were murdered last month.… Read more
Busing Not so long ago our Sunday School was loaded with children. At that time, children were bussed from the slums. The main problem for discontinuing the busing is the lack of couples to go with the bus to pick up the children. Please pray for helpers. Read more

Camps Thank you for praying for the camps! We had 65 campers, and three little boys said they accepted Christ. The teen camp had 50 campers. One boy told me that he was blessed because, despite being the son of a full-time worker, he didn’t have assurance of salvation. At camp, he learned that he can! Read more
