Urgent need for prayer We have an urgent need for prayer. We are helping a mother by letting her stay in our house until we find another place for them to live. Our landlord gave us one week to get her out of our house. Please pray that the Lord will provide something by next Tuesday. Read more

Hunger for God’s Word We have started a men’s prayer time to seek the Lord about reaching our community with the Gospel. We are excited that a number of brothers are getting together to encourage each other in personal Bible study, and we are rejoicing in their hunger for God’s Word. Read more
A challenge to those who read it Most of the 3000 calendars have been distributed into the homes near the assembly. Most people thanked us for them, through chat and via the phone. We pray the silent message each month, as the calendar is hung, will bring a challenge to those who read it. Read more
A lengthy talk We have seen good interest on our Friday Coffee morning. This runs as a drop-in and provides a time to get to know people and to share the Lord with them. Restrictions We thank the Lord for the opportunity Colin has to teach Bible Explorer in schools again. There are restrictions as to what Colin is permitted to do in the lessons, but he has experienced the Lord’s help. Please pray for the students. Read more
Different communities We have received our 5,000 Scripture calendars and we are getting them out to different communities with the help of the believers here. They are greatly appreciated by many. Please pray that the monthly verses will be read and the Word of God will touch hearts for His glory. Read more
Carol service We are planning to have our annual Carol service on December 19th. This has always attracted many visitors. Unfortunately, the Government just announced the possibility of another lockdown if the infection rate does not stabilize. We pray for the Lord’s will and for salvation. Read more
Provisionally booked Some principals have provisionally booked Colin to once again teach Bible Explorer in the classroom beginning in November. We pray the Department of Education will re-open the school doors to visitors, so that these programs can again be a reality and a blessing to many. Read more
A new effort We are looking to set up a stand at a new farmers’ market in town in order to share the Gospel and sell Christmas crafts. Please pray for this new effort. We’re looking forward to this opportunity, beginning in late October. Read more
Next year’s calendar Our big annual literature distribution is done through our calendars. The design for next year’s calendar will go to the printer early in September. We look to the Lord to bless this outreach and use His Word to impact those who receive it. Read more
