Hosting a Short-term team On Friday, an all female short-term team will arrive for two weeks. Each participant has been to Rwanda before. Spiritual Growth during the Holiday Program Pray for 15 KomezaLife students as they meet for a program which includes in-depth discipleship, community service, and English language training. Forming and flourishing Parents of our preschool and primary grade children regularly gather for Bible study. They learn real-life skills, pray for each other, and share testimonies of what God has done in their life. It’s beautiful to see this community forming and flourishing. Please pray for them. We will engage the parents We plan to build an Early Childhood Education Center to provide access to quality, Christ-centered education and care to vulnerable children. Rental space Last week, we were given two months to vacate the property which we have rented for the past 12 years. A modified program As part of our Early Childhood Education ministry, we decided to run a modified program for fourteen 5-year-old’s so they would be more prepared to start primary school in January. We also met with the parents on multiple occasions to teach them about the Good News of the Gospel and give parenting advice. Read more
Challenging regulations The government has released challenging regulations to open churches here. No children under 12 will be allowed to attend and those 13-18 years must be accompanied by an adult. As we gather some of the most vulnerable, this will be very difficult.
