Women’s work Some ladies in our local church are gifted teachers and they have a desire to get out to the villages to build up the women’s work. Discipleship school We continue with 10 students in our discipleship school. Lord willing, they will graduate at the end of August. Please pray for safety as we are doing ministry trips with them to churches in town and in the villages. Read more
Work permits Please hold our need for work permits in your prayers. It is very rare these days to hear of renewal without hassle. Our colleagues were denied renewal, so they appealed and went to Burundi to return on a visitor’s visa. They need the permits to continue to serve the Lord here. Village assemblies God has laid it on our hearts to try and get out to the village assemblies more often to preach, teach and encourage them. We have been accompanied by John & Jennifer Kinlaw, who want to see and visit the village churches as well. It has been good to meet with the saints. Read more
Difficult issues There are difficult issues facing the churches in Northern Tanzania, some having to do with new requirements for government registration. Mission workers are also affected by more stringent work permits. We trust the Lord to keep doors open for us to serve Him as He wants. Read more

An old refugee settlement In June, Harry and Ruth took an evangelistic team on a four-day outreach in an old refugee settlement, a six-hour drive south of Kigoma. Pray for lasting fruit in the hearts of those who responded. Read more
An unreached tribe An elder at our chapel and his wife visited an unreached tribe. It was his 5th visit but his wife’s first. Pray that our Saviour God would open doors for His Word to continue to be sown. Pray for the Lord’s guidance for this couple as to when and how they can move into this tribe full-time. Read more
