Pray for perseverance We had a seminar on Evangelism. That was very good and we learned how to reach those around us. We have continued to go out into the neighborhood of the chapel. Boat trip We have been planning a boat trip to minister in some southern churches. We may be gone about 10 days. Pray for preparations, last minute repairs, protection and fruitful ministry. Read more
Disciples of Jesus We were expecting around 7 or 8 and we got 14 students at the Disciples of Jesus Bible school. Pray that they would continue to be faithful in their attendance and eagerness to learn and apply God's Word to their lives. Read more
New fellowship We have had the opportunity to visit 4 churches, one of them a new fellowship started by an elder from a nearby village. Please pray for these believers to seek to learn God's Word. Also, pray that the Holy Spirit would raise up elders among them who will have a true calling to shepherd the flock of God. Read more
Village assemblies The last three months of 2016, we were able to make weekend or Sunday visits to three village assemblies: Munzeze, Songambele and Kampande. There are many village assemblies that are weak and struggling with various issues and need encouragement. Please pray. Read more
A new church plant We were able to visit a new church plant in a village about 1.5 hours away. We went with a couple of the elders from nearby churches, who are ministering to them at this early stage. We also took Bibles for them to buy at a reduced price.
