Update Peter is home and has been able to start physio for his knee. He will continue to be on blood thinners for at least 6 months, during which time he will be followed by the cardiac specialist. Peter’s health Peter had surgery on Monday, June 20 to have a new knee. The surgery went well but he struggled with his breathing. Today during physio, he collapsed and when he came to, he struggled to breathe. He is presently in intensive care with several pulmonary embolisms. Salvation of the homeless Please pray for the salvation of the homeless who receive a meal and a gospel tract on Fridays. We shared the Gospel with one man who was ill, and he made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus. We have since heard he passed away. Read more
I do not see that happening I had hoped that COVID and now the war in Ukraine would soften people’s hearts! but continue to share the Gospel in any possible way. When I go shopping, I sit on a bench and engage some men in conversation about the Lord and pray for results. Read more
Helping refugees I still have contact with refugees, although less now because some of the centres have been closed. I was able to help a couple with two children obtain an apartment. On the 24th they have to go to Brussels again to plead their case. Pray with us that they may be able to stay in Belgium. Read more
Follow up during the school year. Torrential rain fell during our Teen Camps, but between the showers, we were still able to enjoy most of the planned activities. This year, many teens made professions of faith. Please pray for us as we follow up with regular mailings of devotionals as well as youth retreats during the school year. Read more
Holding three camps back-to-back Plans are being made for summer youth camps. God willing, we will be doing the same as last year, holding three camps back-to-back with bubbles of 50 campers. Registration filled almost immediately. We are hopeful that pandemic restrictions will permit it when the time comes. Read more
