Growth The city of Nantes continues to grow. Cranes and new developments are everywhere. But as the city grows its spiritual needs are growing even faster. Doors Aix-en-Provence, where we live, has many beautiful doors. We don't usually think about their importance. People are either in or out. Our job is to show them the way. 40 Days of Seeking the Lord Our Assembly is completing a time of ‘40 Days of Seeking the Lord’ with special messages, prayer meetings and a daily devotional used churchwide. We are waiting on the Lord to direct us into the works He is preparing for us. We are surrounded with needs, so we ask for guidance. Read more
Help needed One of our team members, Eric Niles, will be leaving us within the next 2-3 months. He joined us in December 2015 for a volunteer commitment of approximately one year to help with cleaning the missionary guest homes and doing outside maintenance jobs (pulling weeds, raking leaves, trimming bushes, etc.). Not an exaggeration Since the summer, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that every Sunday someone comes in for the first time. This didn't happen before, since we’ve been in France! Pray that these people will be welcomed, and will come again and again, and if they do not know the Lord, may they have a real conversion and become living stones… Read more
The next generation We had the joy of witnessing five of our young people being baptized. The testimonies were powerful and touching, the church was full and the whole service was translated in English, Kurdish and Arabic. Four of them grew up in our church, and it is beautiful to watch the next generation walking with the Lord! Read more
Home groups The home groups associated with our assembly have been up and running for over two months. There are four groups, held strategically in different areas of the city. Pray that these groups will bring us closer to the Lord and to each other. Pray too that the believers who aren't yet participating in a home group will soon join. Read more
Student outreach growing A group of Christian students meets weekly for a meal and Bible Study. Every week a few non-Christian students come, curious to know why their friends would want to read the Bible and pray. We have appointed four young people to run this ministry while we invest in them coaching and praying. This outreach has reached a size where it… Read more
