Breakthrough evangelism We are preparing 40 days of seeking the Lord as an Assembly starting January 8 ushered in by a week of prayer at the New Year. International students It has been interesting to see a wide variety of nationalities represented among us on Sundays as many international students come to study in the city. A group of local believers have a special outreach for them. These students are often from countries that are closed to the Gospel, but they are often very open to discussing spiritual matters. Thanksgiving meal Possibly 40 people will be attending our Thanksgiving meal gospel outreach at the seniors' home. Please pray for our witness and the message on Thanksgiving to hit home in the hearts of those seniors who are not Christians as yet. Read more
Blessings We are seeing blessings here. Last Sunday we baptized two fine young 19-year-old men in the river. Some unsaved family members were present and we pray that their hearts were touched as they listened to the testimonies. Read more
Evangelistic blitz We had a one-week evangelistic blitz on the campus. We distributed 15,000 invitations, served free coffee, and witnessed in the streets. Since then, about 17 students have consistently attended our regular meetings. Each week a few non-believers are present and hear the Gospel. Read more
Solid reality The fields are white here! We often give out Gospels of John and/or the Jesus film on DVD. With these uncertain days, we go to town with many immigrants omnipresent, as well as patrolling soldiers with machine guns. People are hungry for solid reality and will listen if you speak with conviction. Pray! Read more
Ladies’ group We re-launched the Ladies' Group for this new school year, and it was really encouraging. Please pray for the ongoing ministry amongst the ladies. The needs are varied and much more time could be spent visiting them, if only we had the time! Read more

Blitz We are running an intensive week of evangelism on the university campus starting Monday 25 September. A team of seven young people has come and joined our regular team. Bible calendars We are ordering Bible calendars to distribute to individuals and Seniors' Homes at the end of the year. There has been, and still is, a Bible foundation in Saone, and I believe it will again change lives. Please pray. Read more
