Graduated to Heaven (via her grandson Jerem Haack ) - My grandmother Marjorie Haack has graduated to heaven and is now worshipping at the feet of our precious Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. She went to Glory around midnight the morning of March 7th. Read more
Continued growth The four moms, their children and two special needs children living in Shepherd’s Home are doing well. It is encouraging to see continued growth in their faith and commitment to following the Lord. They are now also taking turns leading devotions at breakfast time. Read more
A sweet person We had a good number show up at our weekly Ladies’ Bible Study. One older lady, known in the village as unpleasant, showed up Saturday and was so sweet! She also had good questions about forgiveness, and she heard the Gospel very clearly. Please pray for her salvation! Read more
Public school The Bible Club at Lyncrest Christian Academy held its last activity for the year. Vonnie challenged the graduating 6th graders to keep the faith and hold on to the Christian values they learned at LCA. Pray for these students moving on to a public school for 7th grade. They may face peer pressure, temptations, and culture shock. Read more
Missions exposure The seven young people who went on a missions exposure in December were amazed to see how God provided for their needs. This inspired us to continue going out every Sunday afternoon to seek the lost and share the Gospel. They pray before they launch out and after the event they report and debrief. Some rejections have not discouraged them. Read more
The first 37 lessons A co-worker finished writing the first 37 Bible lessons (creation to ascension) in the local language. As part of the process, several individuals have worked through the lessons in their entirety. One language helper finished the lessons and confessed he put his faith in Jesus Christ! Memory verses Every week the 6th grade Bible students at Faith Academy learn a memory verse. Their goal has been for the entire class to receive a perfect score. They were so excited when this finally happened. It was a team effort. Students had been quizzing each other and working together to learn the verse. Please pray for them. Read more
Rescue girls The work with the rescue girls fell through at the last minute but please continue to pray for them as their journey is long and hard. Pray for their hearts to be healed and that the light and love of Jesus would break every chain that binds them. Read more
Spiritual vocabulary Dennis had a culture and language evaluation and has been cleared to start working on Bible lessons in the local language. Please pray for God's wisdom and guidance as he digs deeper into spiritual vocabulary. Read more
Midwives-in-training We have three new mission worker midwives-in-training arriving at Abundant Grace of God Maternity on January 10. Pray for a smooth transition for them and for their accommodations to be completed soon. Read more
Pitogo Once a month we have been driving for two and a half hours to Pitogo for a Bible Study. Not only adults but children walk many miles over the mountains to attend. There is no church in the area and they are hungry for God's Word. Please pray that the Lord will raise up somebody in that area. Read more
