Despite the lockdown

There are people coming to Esperanza despite the lockdown who have asked me to give them a Bible and teach them about it. Six are believers and the other 6 are unbelievers. They come on different days. Please pray for the new believers, that they will not turn away from the Lord even after the pandemic ended.

Our Daily Bread

Due to the lockdown, most of the villagers of Sitio Malalim are running out of money and food. With the help of a Christian nurse, we managed to deliver relief goods. In each bag we included the Our Daily Bread one-year devotional in Tagalog. Please pray that the Lord will use this material to encourage them, especially new contacts.

Abundant Grace of God Maternity is relatively quiet with only a few visits from women who are close to their due date or with risk factors. We have 1 or 2 births per day. Pray for safe, spread-out deliveries for our patients so that the clinic will not be overwhelmed in these times.

Last Saturday the Lord brought 75 kids to our Bible Verse Memory Club. They all had a great time. Praise the Lord! Please pray for many to come to receive the Lord Jesus as their Saviour!

They pay closer attention

The number of children attending the memory program has been steady! Some have started helping read the verses out loud from the screen during the teaching time. We notice that they pay closer attention when it is a child speaking into the mic. Please pray that they understand the Scriptures that they are hiding in their hearts.
