A new Bible study A new Bible study will be held in a village adjacent to ours. It will be attended by the village Captain and his secretary. This village is a place where drug addiction, gambling, prostitution and money swindling are rampant. Our God is amazing! I never thought that we would ever have that opportunity. Read more
High school boys Emil’s workshop caught the attention of the local Filipino Christian school and he has been asked to teach a class to the high school boys. Pray that the Lord would give wisdom as he walks beside them in their journey. Read more
Bible Verse Memory Club The children are back in school and we concluded our weekly Bible Verse Memory Club. We started out with 17 children, but the Lord grew it to 40 the week after! Praise Him! We are praying for the Lord to allow us to continue this effort once a month. Read more
Deaf/Mute A deaf/mute girl was referred to us shortly before she was to give birth. She has returned to her deaf/mute common-law husband and they have been introduced to a deaf church where their spiritual needs can be provided. Pray for their salvation. Read more
Emotional rollercoaster At Abundant Grace of God Maternity we continue to care for many teenage moms, second wives and mothers who are giving their babies up for adoption. It can be quite an emotional rollercoaster so we covet your prayers and support. Read more
Graduation programs Our four schools had graduation programs. We praise the Lord for providing these excellent opportunities to share the Gospel with both students and parents. Pray that many will come to know Him as their personal Saviour through the school ministries. Read more
Reaching this point It looks like the time of Bible teaching may be on the horizon. Our co-worker is mapping out the lesson strategy. Dennis is able to help out in this process and it is wonderful to see all the years of preparation finally reaching this point. Read more
Relationships Pray for the relationships that Doreen is building with Faith Academy's students during class and during the after-school tutoring. Pray that they all would grow deeper in their walks with the Lord. Read more
Midwives Sadly, three of our staff midwives left Abundant Grace of God Maternity Clinic last month. They were hired for highly sought-after government midwife positions. Retreat We took our 'Abundant Grace of God Maternity' staff and their family members for a 3-day retreat to the beach. Since the retreat, I have noticed a big change in my staff and their hunger to know God more. A few of them even decided to start a Bible study during lunch break! Read more
Courses and Bibles The Ladies' Bible Study is going well. We just ordered more Tagalog courses and more Bibles. So many folks are asking for a Bible, that we decided to give them out for free whenever someone completes a course. We pray that this will help more people to be interested in God's Word. Read more
