Encouraging A year ago one of my students at Asian School of Hospitality Arts organized a Bible study group. After hearing the Gospel, 17 students came to Christ. It was so encouraging because the group grew by the students inviting their school friends and praying that they would know Christ as Saviour. Thirteen of those students obeyed the Lord in baptism. Gospel of John The translation team is finalizing Bill MacDonald's commentary on the Gospel of John, to get it ready for proofreading, editing and typesetting. The next book to be translated, Philippians, is in the process. Please pray for the team, as Satan is attacking this effort, and some are discouraged. Read more
Brooke’s Point Christian High School The Brooke's Point Christian High School is going through a revival, with a new principal committed to its spiritual and academic change. He is renovating the facilities and preparing the school for its accreditation check this December. We have been trying to give some assistance. Pray for him and the school. Read more
Responded well Another young mother was referred to Shepherd's Home by the government's social services with her 2-year-old daughter who is developmentally delayed but showing progress with therapy. She has responded well during our Bible studies and has recently expressed her desire to accept the Lord. Pray for her and for our counselor, who continues to disciple these women. Read more

Workshop center Emil was able to find a location for his workshop/ministry center. It is right next door to a local school. He will provide training for young people that would like to learn some practical skills in woodworking and mechanics in an atmosphere where they can grow spiritually. Our Daily Bread Our Daily Bread held its first Open House. The staff met some of the readers in person. Grieving in uncertainty We were able to be in the village for our friend's funeral. The experience has opened many doors. An unknown infection We both came to the US exhausted, but after three months in the US and Canada, we came back to the Philippines refreshed and inspired. Unfortunately, after arriving in Manila, Patrick was hospitalized and treated for ketoacidosis and symptoms of an unknown infection. He remains in hospital while they continue testing to determine the cause of his symptoms. Read more
